Yen Phan of CodLad won the Data Scientist Award for her contributions to the world of Data Science.
Attracting entries from more than 170 companies across Ireland, Europe, the United Arab Emirates and the United States, The Diversity in Tech Awards returned to an in-person ceremony for the first time in three years to celebrate the best examples of diversity, equality and inclusion in the tech community. The Awards shine a light on organisations striving to create a more diverse & inclusive workplace.
They were powered by Catalyst Media, with JP Morgan as the main event partner.
Yen Phan is a senior clinical data scientist at CodLad and has over 10 years of experience in data science in academia and industry. She is also a professional member of The Irish Computer Society, The British Computer Society, and American Association for the Advancement of Science. She always ensures database standards are adhered to and referential integrity is followed. She founded CodLad in 2019 driven to help achieve clinical success.
Yen Phan won the 2022 Data Scientist Award, she has demonstrated extraordinary skill and commitment to her area of expertise for over a decade. She has ensured best practice and ongoing excellence in the planning and execution of data management tasks for multiple clinical trials worldwide. As a young academic supervisor, she is continuously sharing her expertise with students and has also become part of the team from Technological University Dublin delivering skilling programs to unemployed graduates under the Government Springboard Initiative.
